"We purchased a 35" x 24" DermaSaver Flat pad for one of our residents who developed a Stage II on her coccyx area. The resident was refusing to get out of bed most days and is a very poor eater. She has a diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome. We placed her on the pad on September 28 and continued with treatment. We kept her brief off as much as possible. By October 12, she is completely healed. We have kept her on the pad as a preventative measure and have seen no re-opening.

I am also using the Arm Tubes and Leg Tubes on several residents and have had no further skin tears. The residents who are using them love them and the families have given positive comments. I wish I had tried your products sooner

"I have been working as a wound nurse at this facility for years and I am always looking for a 'better' product to prevent and protect all types of wounds. I am thrilled with the DermaSaver products; they are everything I have been looking for. Most of the products I have tried either bunch or twist, never truly staying in the needed area. Most products are intended for a single use and therefore are not very cost effective. I especially like the fact DermaSaver products can be washed and dried quickly and then can be re-used for other residents.

We have a dementia units where the residents have little or no safety awareness. Most of the time we don't know how skin tears, bruises or abrasions occurred. We used your product on two residents who always seem to have a new wound. The first resident (wheelchair bound) would often have 4 or 5 skins tears on each leg in various stages of healing. We purchased two of the DermaSaver Shin~Knee tubes and she has not had a new wound since July 25 when we started the product. The second resident always had skin tears and bruises on his arms; the DermaSaver full arm tube has worked wonderfully. He has not had any new wounds since July 28th and we purchased a second pair for him. His wife is thrilled that we no longer have to wrap his arms in the bulky kerlix gauze dressings.
